Mental training doesn´t have to be complex. We all have mental issues and most of us are influenced by our surroundings, relationships etc. We listen maybe too much to others and worst of all we think too much about what others might think of us. I am not a psychiatrist, but I have tools that are easy to go to, which help the most.
One important thing I have realized, is when my inner dialogue is positive, I can handle most things. I am talking myself up – focusing on my good qualities.
One exercise I teach my clients is the Mirror: Looking at myself in the mirror and talking loudly to me, that I look good and this is going to be a great day. It takes a while to get used to the self talk and maybe you find it silly, but give it a couple of weeks and you will feel the positive change in you.
